Star Trek: Voyager 30th Anniversary Theme

This premiere issue of ENGAGE! Magazine will cover the gamut of Star Trek: Voyager, in honor of it's 30th Anniversary in January.  All articles, interviews, reviews and features should be Voyager themed.

An in-depth look at the important of Captain Kathryn Janeway, the first female captain of a starship.  This article should look at how Janeway was as a captain in a difficult situation, and how the character has inspired women for decades.

This article will be an in-depth look at how the EMH Doctor evolved over time from a computer program to a sentient character.

This article will examine the unique dynamic presented at the beginning of the series when two crews had to merge together, the trials of ex-Starfleet officers trying to integrate back into a once-hated organization, and whether the concept was abandoned too soon.

Voyager gave us some altogether mind bending alien species from the Delta Quadrant.  Between the Kazon, Hirogen and Borg, this piece will examine some (not all) of the more interesting species we met on their journey home.

Article Title:  Anatomy of a Crew

Article Length: 1000-1500 words

This short article will have a section for each of the crew members above.  For each crewmember, write a short writeup about their character, achievements during the show, growth from Season 1-7, relationships.  Very brief, highlighting each crew members strengths and faults.
